Eaton Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Hydromat Operator at our Roxboro, NC facility.
Position is responsible for operating two or more rotary transfer machines used in the machining of hydraulic lifter components. Duties will include: perform set-ups, machine adjustments, operator preventive maintenance and regular quality inspections on the product and other duties as assigned. The selected candidate must have mechanical skills required to perform the duties described above. Requires ability to use hand tools, strong math skills, and ability to read blue prints, and perform SPC charting. Must be able to use precision measuring instruments. Previous metal removal experience is preferred and will be selected over other qualifications.
This position is on rd shift (10:30 p.m. - 6:50 a.m.).
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school is required.
Minimum one year of machining/maintenance/mechanic experience is required.
Perferred Experience
1) Have earned a Piedmont Community College Workforce Academy Certification
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Relocation is not provided. Only candidates that reside within 50 miles of the facility will be considered
