Palace Pointe is looking for an outgoing, energetic, dependable person to join our team! Part-time bartender must have a minimum of 6 months experience, including a basic knowledge of ABC rules and regulations, ability to do basic math and operate a POS system. Must be able to read and follow drink recipes to make drinks properly.
We pay very competitive wages: $7.25/hr PLUS tips. Must be available some nights, Mon-Fri and all day Saturdays and/or Sundays.

At least 21 years of age
High school diploma or comparable
Ability to pass TIPS alcohol training course
Maintain a professional appearance in keeping with company policies

Ability to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
English language proficiency
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time with short breaks, walk around the center, move/assist in moving tables and chairs up to 50 lbs.
Provide exceptional service to our guests at all times
Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to our guests.
Mix and pour beverages for waitstaff.
Follow all alcohol safety protocols and procedures, including ID verification and monitoring guests' alcohol intake.
Follow all pour specifications to maintain inventory and cost control.
Maintain all inventory control, cost control, and alcohol safety standards.
Take food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner.
Monitor and observe guests' dining experience.
Operate our POS system and accurately manage gues checks and payments.
Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
Maintain clean service areas.
Respond promptly and courteously to any requests and report any issues to management.
Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment.
Be ready and willing to assist fellow bartenders and servers as situations arise.
Assist with inventory counts and ordering.
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by management.
Abide by all regulations and laws of the NC Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission.
Other duties as assigned.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
