Human Resources Generalist


Daily operations of recruiting, screening and interviewing applicants for prospective employment and including writing and placing recruitment advertisements. Assists the Human Resources Manager with policy and procedure preparation, handbook updates, and the implementation and coordination of medical center compensation program. Processes worker's compensation and unemployment claims timely. Assists with the development of job descriptions and job analysis. Conducts new employee orientation and handles exit interviewing. Maintains Human Resources Information System and compiles reportsMaintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.


Minimum Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent - Required
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred

Required Skills:

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize daily duties.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
