About The Opportunity
Position Details:
The purpose of the Inventory Control Specialist is to support the task force by working ahead via a structured cycle count process identifying a baseline and problem areas. The Inventory Control Specialist will gain a thorough understanding of the inventory transactions and processes through root cause analysis of chronic and one-off issues. The Inventory Control Specialist will be preparing to step into the next available analyst role on the task
Key Responsibilities
Investigate symptoms and processes causing inventory issues as assigned by the task force leader
Utilize standard, accepted cycle counting procedures to support Inventory Task Force Initiatives
Constantly work to improve the inventory metric results
KPI?s: Negative inventory balances, cycle count accuracy, LTA for material delivery, physical inventory variance, BOM Accuracy, Routing Accuracy
Support Excess and Obsolete analysis on a constant basis
Support material flow initiatives targeting enhanced inventory control
Implement lean principles as they relate to inventory management
Communicate effectively and with a sense of urgency across all departments in the plant related to inventory issues
Support site based Cycle count processes as required
Support annual physical inventory processes
Qualifications:
Experience with inventory management in a manufacturing environment
Experience with inventory management systems and transactional process
Above Average communication skills ? verbal and oral
Above Average computer skills ? (MSOffice/Excel, Word)
Self-motivated Desirable
Pursuing post high school education
Computer skills ? (MFG/PRO preferred)
Required experience:
Inventory management in a manufacturing environment: 3 years force and is expected to aggressively pursue the skill set required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
