Customer Demand Leader

Lead a team in charge of all incoming order information from customers, maintenance of all systems solutions for customer order management (customer master, EDI???), customer inquiries and concerns., communication between external customer and internal functions to ensure proper response.
The primary responsibility of the customer demand team is to ensure demand is flowing through systems as expected and is in compliance with contractual terms in both overall volume and fluctuation week to week, all in an effort to stabilize the demand targeted by production.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure safe working environment.
Manage its team based on Employee Involvement principles
Provide input into finished goods inventory strategy and ensure customer service staff apply the policy.
Ensure alignment of Systems parameters and rigorous management of Master Data for all sales (order to invoice).
Ensure regular Demand control within 3 month period and proactively manage fluctuations with Customer and Key Account team
Ensure alignment with Customer contract terms by week / month average and maximum quantity levels, working with commercial to define and update a monthly view of same
Drive MPS activities related to customer forecasts and orders and support SIOP Demand Planning process.
Manage customer relationship in crisis situation.
Anticipate any delivery delay to customers and manage emergency activities
Through appropriate supply chain metrics drive continuous improvement in Customer Service (e.g. customer DSA, Premium Freight cost, Finished Goods inventory turns, std freight cost???).
Determine action plans to improve measures.
Proactively communicate/escalate to the management team potential delivery issues/constraints to trigger preventive actions in order to mitigate supply failure risk.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Experience:
Expert level for Daily Scheduling & Execution,
Practitioner level for SIOP / MPS / MRP, Forecasting & Demand Planing,Master Data Mgt, Inventory Management, Inbound / Outbound Flow,

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
